Welcome to “A Blackbird Called Sue”. This site is focused on providing Tutorials, Hints & Tips  and Free templates for Blackmagic’s awesome compositing and VFX program “Fusion”. All of our tutorials and other material are applicable to the free version, so there are no excuses!

If you haven’t worked with Fusion at all yet, I can thoroughly recommend the Blackmagic website; there are some great beginners tutorials listed over there.

The tutorials on this site range from fairly basic (for instance the Waving Flag tutorial) to intermediate/advanced (for instance the Unleash the Power of Particles tutorial). Having said that, you should be able to follow pretty much all tutorials with only some basic experience.
