Hey all – a quick comp download for you guys. Very simple, but especially if done with a nice font, it can look really elegant. Font I used is Forma, which can be downloaded here:
For my Patreon Patrons, I made a simple, but effective comp available for download. Quick video of it:
For my tier 2 Patrons I provided a variation where you can easily create a text intro with the same animation. Just update the words/strings in the expression, and you’re done!
If you’re interested, please consider signing up to my Patreon page. You’ll get early access to some of my youtube videos and downloads, special downloads etc. Also, it helps me a bit too as I don’t generate any other income for my tutorials etc (I don’t monetize my videos). Would be nice to at least be able to cover my hosting costs!
Davinci Resolve/Fusion – creative with Duplicate3D
Hey all – here a new tutorial I created. Also, find below a download of the comp file of the “countries-intro” (2nd clip shown in the introduction of the tutorial).
Simon Ubsdell created an excellent tutorial on creating a better depth blur in Fusion. I did a slight modification to make it suit my purposes. Now and then I get approached to provide an example (as I left a comment under his video), so to make things easier I thought I’d make it available as a download.
The key change I made is that the custom tool now allows you to easily set the focus point and the depth of field (see sliders on the Controls tab of the Custom Tool). I didn’t re-create Simon’s colour correction etc, but these can of course be added.
